Tips 1 : Do u know how to use the edit button (abc or pencil button)?
Heres how... In the inbox for example; u wanna delete multiple sms, simply hold the edit button, scroll down, and then, press c to delete the marked sms. The edit button can also b used to copy and past text in sms, simply hold it and scroll across, choose copy. Pretty good for placing song names in ngages
Tip 2 : Shit happens, on a smart phone, its inevitable u do something wrong, and tis calls for a format of phone. To format the fone, press *#7370#, then enter the lock code, which is the sec code of the fone. NOTE: batt must b full, else if format is disrupted by low batt, consequences will b disastrous.I heard the code *#7780# works too, pretty much the same i tink.
for 6600 users, to format the phone, there's an alternative way. Press and hold <3>, <*> and Call (Send) buttons, then power on phone, keep holding on the 3 buttons, till u come to a format screen. This method ONLY works on 6600, and need not enter the sec code. BUT sec code would be reset to default 12345.
Tip 3 : TO NGAGE USERS; Did u know u can install .sis files simply using the cable given? Juz plug it in, place the .sis file anywhere on e: (the mmc), not in any folders, root of e:, disconnect, then look for it in manager.
Tip 4: Save on battery and system memory being used by regularly checking the task manager which can be accessed by holding down the menu button!!
Tip 4a: Set the screen saver to a short time out period to prolong battery life.
Tip 4b: Avoid restarting the phone, or repeatedly turning it on and off. This helps increase battery life.
Tip 5: Type *#06# to display your IMEI serial number, very valuable for the unlocking your phone to other sim cards
Tip 6: Type *#0000# to view which firmware version you are running
Tip 7: If you would like to avoid being "blue jacked", keep blue tooth turned off, or set your phone's visibility to hidden.
Tip 8: Don't want to carry a watch and a phone? Set the screen saver to show date and time, then you can ditch the watch.
Tip 9: Save memory when installing apps, by installing over blue tooth. This can be done using the nokia phone suite and a blue tooth serial connection. Only works with .SIS files, so java still has to be sent to the phone, but will save space when using .SIS files.
Tip 10: Operator logos
Use a file manager like FExplorer or SeleQ to add the folders: "c:/system/Apps/phone/oplogo". Add a .bmp picture to folder "oplogo" and restart your phone! The .bmp picture size needs to be: 97 x 25 pixels
Tip 11: Check if the recipients phone is on
Delivery reports
or
Type *0# your message in the message composer window space then write your message, the recipient will not see the star zero hash bit - just the message When they read it it will relay a message back to your fone showing the time they received it. (haven't yet tried it myself though)
Tip 12: Blue Jacking
First up, you need to know what Bluetooth is. There are lots of types of modern devices that incorporate Blue tooth as one of their many features. PDAs, mobile phones and laptops are a few of these modern devices. Bluetooth means that Blue tooth enabled devices can send things like phone book/address book contacts, pictures & notes to other Bluetooth enabled devices wireless over a range of about 10 meters. So, we've got past the boring part. Now, using a phone with Bluetooth, you can create a phone book contact and write a message, eg. 'Hello, you've been bluejacked', in the 'Name' field. Then you can search for other phones with Blue tooth and send that phone book contact to them. On their phone, a message will popup saying "'Hello, you've been bluejacked' has just been received by Bluetooth" or something along those lines. For most 'victims' they will have no idea as to how the message appeared on their phone.
Tip 13: While you are viewing a picture in your phone's gallery, press one of these shortcut keys (definitely works on 6600, not sure about other symbians)
1 - turn image anticlockwise
3 - turn image clockwise
* - toggle on/off of full screen
5 - zoom in
0 - zoom out
Tips 14 :u can select all files in a folder by selecting THE folder and copy it then paste it somewhere. However u need to make a new directory. Fexplorer wun let u copy that folder together. Well select Q can mark files to copy but it really takes time!
Tips 15 :A soft and Hard reset
A Soft-reset - the process of resetting all the settings of the phone to the factory default! No applications are deleted! A Hard-reset is like formatting a drive! It does format the memory. Everything that has been installed after the first use of the phone is deleted! It will recover the memory of the phone to the state you purchased it! It is done by inputing the following code: *#7370# NOTE: The battery must be full or the charger has to be connected to the phone so that it does not run out of power and make the phone unusable.

Why people get banned in Google Adsense!
In adsense many of times new and even old publisher get banned in regular period of time. In which many acclaimed that Google banned them simply without any prior reason. I would like to point out few major reasons to get banned.
Lack of Knowledge
As we all know that Google is much strict regarding Terms of Conditions and its privacy. According to my own survey 75-80% publishers get banned by exploiting terms & conditions. Thats why i suggest every new user to read out all TOS carefully.
Maximum Clicks
To obtain high number of clicks most of publishers tend to place ads on whole page. At times that gives some amount of invalid clicks and raises up CTR Rate above 100% which is totally un acceptable.
Copyrighted Content & Material
Copyrights are also another reason that Google never allows its publisher to use any content & material which is strictly prohibited by its orignal owner. Unless for duplicate content it gives only few cents.
These are general banning reasons of publishers in Google Adsense.

TAKE CARE OF UR PC
Here are some tips about pc maintanence take note.
Following a schedule is a simple way to maintain the health of your computer, but the key is knowing how often and what kind of preventative maintenance your PC needs.
The way you use your PC is the single biggest factor in determining your maintenance needs-it's even more important than how often you use your computer.
Your PC will probably fit into one of these maintenance categories:
High PC Maintenance
One computer in our home receives heavy use, including:
Frequent file creation/deletion, all file sizes
Frequent application installs/uninstalls
Frequent high-memory tasks (website programming, video editing)
Frequent computer configuration changes
Continuous Internet use
In use over 50 hours per week (full-time work and beyond)
This computer receives constant, daily wear and tear. Internet developers, graphic designers, computer programmers and gamers often use computers this way.
If this description fits your PC, your computer needs frequent maintenance-twice a month or even weekly. A recommended maintenance routine is listed at the bottom of this article.
Above-Average PC Maintenance
We use one computer in our home 50 hours a week for word processing, email and photo editing.
Computers requiring above-average maintenance are used for:
Frequent file creation/deletion, small and medium files
Infrequent installs/uninstalls
Infrequent use for memory-intensive tasks (video editing, gaming)
Infrequent configuration changes (same applications, little change over time)
Internet use is typically limited to browsing
In use over 40 hours per week (full-time work computer)
If your computer fits this description, get in the habit of running maintenance on the system regularly-start with once a month. If you find you desperately need each maintenance session-say, your hard drive is completely in pieces before you defrag-step it up, do your maintenance on that computer more often. (A recommended maintenance routine is listed at the bottom of this article.)
Average PC Maintenance
computers fewer than 15 hours a week for homework, games, email, art, music and movies:
Infrequent file creation/deletion
Infrequent installs/uninstalls
Infrequent use for memory-intensive tasks (video editing, gaming)
Internet use is limited to browsing
Infrequent configuration changes (same applications, little change over time)
Part-time use or light full-time use (often a recreation computer)
Average computers don't change much from day to day. These computers aren't used for file manipulation and are only involved in a few tasks. If you use your home computer mainly in the evenings for email, word processing and photo editing, your computer needs average maintenance.
Treat this computer the same as an above-average computer-start your maintenance at once a month. If you see little change from session to session-for example, if you try to defragment and the software says it's unnecessary-you can relax the time between your maintenance sessions.
Light PC Maintenance
Infrequent file creation/deletion
Infrequent installs/uninstalls
Rarely used for memory-intensive tasks (video editing, gaming)
Internet use is limited to browsing
Infrequent configuration changes (same applications, little change over time)
Part-time use (or full-time, if used for limited, repetitive tasks)
Lightly used computers don't change much from day to day. These computers are involved in few tasks and aren't used much for file storage. If you use your home computer just a few nights a week for email and word processing, your computer may only need light maintenance.
Start your maintenance schedule at once every three months. If you find the maintenance routine takes a long time, move to every other month. Keep in mind that it's better to do too much maintenance rather than too little.
Now that you've pinned down a starting point for how often your computer needs maintenance, you must choose what to include in your PC maintenance routine.
Recommended Maintenance Routine
Few software packages cover preventative care as thoroughly as PC utilities software (also called system utility software). Most utilities products allow you to set up regular, automatic computer checkups so you can keep your maintenance simple and convenient.
These are tasks you should perform at each maintenance session, regardless of which maintenance category your computer fits into .
Remove duplicate/deleted files
Clean the hard drive
Clean Internet activity
Perform hard drive repair
Make a system backup/hard drive backup
Optimize Windows operating system
Optimize Internet settings
Optimize memory
Defragment the hard drive
Optimize registry settings
Perform registry repair
Clean the registry
Defragment the registry
Without regular, preventative PC care, you may make an expensive visit to the computer store unnecessarily. So don't wait until your computer has a problem. Start maintaining your PC before it protests

Optimize Broadband & Dsl Connections
These settings allow you to boost the speed of your broadband Internet connection when using a Cable Modem or DSL Router with Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create the following DWORD values, as most of these values will not already exist you will need to create them by clicking on 'Edit -> New -> DWORD Value' and then set the value as shown below.
DefaultTTL = "80" hex (or 128 decimal)
Specifies the default time to live (TTL) for TCP/IP packets. The default is 32.
EnablePMTUBHDetect = "0"
Specifies whether the stack will attempt to detect Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) routers that do not send back ICMP fragmentation-needed messages. The default is 0.
EnablePMTUDiscovery = "1"
Specifies whether the TCP/IP stack will attempt to perform path MTU discovery as specified in RFC 1191. The default is 1.
GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize = "7FFF" hex (or 32767 decimal)
Specifies the system maximum receive window size advertised by the TCP/IP stack.
TcpMaxDupAcks = "2"
Determines the number of duplicate ACKs that must be received for the same sequence number of sent data before "fast retransmit" is triggered.
SackOpts = "1"
Enables support for selective acknowledgements as documented by Request for Comment (RFC) 2018. Default is 0.
Tcp1323Opts = "1"
Controls RFC 1323 time stamps and window scaling options. Possible values are: "0" = disable RFC 1323 options, "1" = window scale enabled only, "2" = time stamps enabled only and "3" = both options enabled.
TcpWindowSize = "7FFF" hex (or 32767 decimal)
Specifies the receive window size advertised by the TCP/IP stack. If you have a latent network you can try increasing the value to 93440, 186880, or 372300.
Exit your registry and restart Windows for the changes to take effect.
If you don’t want to edit the registry, here's a little TCP utility that is ideal...

Tips using RSS on ur Site
RSS stands for "Rich Site Summary" or "Really Simple Syndication", and is another exciting internet marketing method that can help you boost web traffic and skyrocket your sales. When a web site owner wants to share content with other web sites, the content can be placed into an RSS document and registered with an RSS publisher. This content can include articles, press releases, blog postings, headlines, web content, and any other information that the web site owner wants to allow others to read.
Because of the ease of distribution and the potential for unique web traffic, you can use this technique to improve your online marketing efforts. The key to using RSS as a successful marketing tool is to have useful content that engages and informs your intended audience. No one will want to read boring or useless information, and they certainly won't want to pass it on to others. Use the following tips to make your content sizzle so that your target market will keep coming back for more.
Articles for RSS
When you write articles for use in RSS feeds, put yourself in the shoes of your intended audience members. As a busy professional, do you want to read long articles with large blocks of text, or would you rather read short how-to articles and checklists? Write your articles to be long enough to provide at least one important piece of information, but short enough to capture the attention of even the busiest professional.
Consider breaking longer articles into one article series. Instead of writing one 2,000 word article, you can write ten 200-word articles that are more likely to be read. These shorter articles are also perfect for submission to online newsletters and e-zines. In addition to considering length, consider the topics you can write about.
Make sure that your articles are appropriate for your intended audience in terms of subject matter and depth. A beginner audience will get discouraged with overly technical articles and an advanced audience will not want to read simple tips and how-to articles.
RSS Press Releases
Press releases can easily be distributed with RSS, much like other types of content. Your press releases need to be targeted and contain information that presents your business in the best light. You can send press releases out for many reasons including changes in ownership, special events, charitable donations, the addition of new staff members, and an increase in the number of products and services you provide.
If you write just one press release a week, you can see a startling improvement in your web site traffic due to all the one-way links your submission efforts can generate. Using press releases is also a great way to encourage other people to post your information on their web sites.
RSS Blog Postings
Blogs are one of the most effective internet marketing tools currently available. They're also relatively inexpensive and easy to maintain. Blogs allow you to post information about your company, optimize your web site for the search engines, and have customers leave comments so that your web site becomes interactive. When you write blog postings that will be used for RSS, keep the same principles of article writing in mind. Shorter posts are better because people can read them in between major projects or when they want to take a quick break from their work.
You should also be sure to write for your intended audience. Don't overly promote your business in your postings. Instead, give people information and resources that they can use and they'll be encouraged to keep visiting your web site. This can help you build solid customer relationships and improve your sales conversion rate.
RSS Content
There are many other types of content that can be used to promote your business through RSS. You can turn all of your knowledge into tip sheets, special reports, question and answer listings, and almost any other type of content that can be used with RSS. Keep in mind the rules for writing content for a target audience and you can successfully use your content to develop your web traffic and help to improve your sales conversion rate.
Setting Up an RSS Feed
Setting up an RSS feed requires a small investment of your time that can help you see a phenomenal return. If you want to set up your own RSS feed, you'll need to have a server, a database with descriptions of your content, and the ability to use scripting. If you're not able to use scripting or you don't have a server or database set up, you can hire a freelancer to do the technical work for you so you can concentrate on finding ways to make your content available all over the Web.
Once you have everything ready to go, you can find an aggregate, or RSS publisher, to submit your content to for syndication. Many of these aggregates are available and allow you to submit your site under a specific category.
Categorizing Your Feed
When you submit your content to an aggregate, you need to make sure you submit it under the right category. This helps you to make sure your intended audience can access your information.
If you own a sporting goods business and accidentally categorize your content under a home furnishings category, people will wonder why your content is listed and will not be interested in visiting your web site. Review your content and make a list of categories that it might fit into. If you are a freelance writer, you can categorize your content under small business, home business, marketing, web content, search engine optimization, or publishing depending on the type of writing you do.
The important thing is not to pigeon-hole your content into one category. If your content can be used by many different audiences, submit to several aggregates under different categories to see the best return on your investment.

Tips for Using Google AdSense on ur site !!!
If I had to narrow my advice on using AdSense down to a single word it would be 'experiment'. Let me explain.
That day back in October of 2003 I had no idea on what I was doing. The next day when I logged in to see how much I'd earned it was barely enough to buy me a coffee.
However, on that day I decided that those few dollars in earnings showed potential and I determined within myself to learn how best to use AdSense to grow that income. Almost everything I've learned since that day has been through trial and error.
It has been a long process of testing and tracking results. You see, while there are a few good home truths that seem to work on most sites, every website that I've used AdSense on is different. Some things work well on some sites, but it is rare to find something that will work on every site. As a result I tend to experiment with my use of AdSense in these six ways:
1. Ad Position - Most AdSense publishers have seen the neat little heat map that AdSense has produced to show where ads work best on websites. In general it works fairly well and is a great place to start, but make sure you experiment with new positions for ads and see what works best for your site.
Hint: Ads near (or even surrounded by) content have worked the best. I've also found ads at the end of content perform well. People get to the end of reading your article and then are looking for something to do or click -- an ad positioned there can work well.
2. Numbers of Ads - More ads earn more than less ads... don't they? Unfortunately it isn't always the case.
Test different combinations and numbers of ad units on your site. There's usually a 'tipping point' where you hit a ceiling of how many ads your users will accept -- push it too far and you could hurt reader engagement, traffic, and in the long run your earnings. On the flip side of this, don't be afraid to have more than one or two ads on a page, particularly if you have long pages with lots of content.
3. Ad Design - I can still see the first ads that I first used on my blog back in 2003. I can still see them because they fried their imprints into my retina -- they were so LOUD!
I figured that the ads would do best if people noticed them so I went for the most crazy color scheme I could come up with. Over the years I began to experiment with different combinations of ads and found that more subtle or blended ads tended to work best for me. Having said that, you can sometimes blend too much, to the point that the ads become invisible to your reader. So test different colors and designs of ads to see which work best. Use the ad rotating tool that AdSense offer publishers to rotate different designs to work against ad blindness among regular readers.
4. Ad Sizes - AdSense offers us a range of different ad sizes, so experiment with them all to see which works best. Hint: Some might think that the bigger the ad the better it performs. This is not always true.
For example, I found that the 'large rectangle' ad (336 x 280) didn't work as well for me as the smaller 'medium rectangle' ad (300 x 250). It turns out that more advertisers (at least those in my niche) prefer the medium rectangle ad as it's a more standard ad unit size than the larger one. Again, the key is to experiment and see what works best for your site and niche.
5. Ad Formats - I've found that choosing image and text ads works better than just choosing text ads, but that's not the only choice we get as AdSense publishers.
AdSense also allow us to run link units, AdSense for search, etc. I've found that each of these different formats will work differently from site to site. I've had blogs where the link unit ads were the best performing units on the site while on other sites it didn't really perform at all. You'll never know unless you test it!
6. Which Content Converts? - One of the best advances that AdSense has made in the last year has been the integration between it and Google Analytics. To be honest I'm still digging into the metrics that this opens up, but the insight that this gives has amazing potential to increase earnings.

New Intel Wireless Product for Laptops
New Compatibility Program for Intel® Centrino Users with Wireless-N
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Jan. 23, 2007 — Intel Corporation today introduced the Intel® Next-Gen Wireless-N network connection, an upgrade to the wireless component found inside Intel® Centrino® Duo mobile technology and other Intel-based laptops that helps consumers better connect to wireless networks.
As notebook PCs increasingly download broadband-intense content such as movies, videos and music, a more powerful networking solution is needed. Based on the draft 802.11n Wi-Fi specification, the Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N technology addresses that need by offering users up to five times** the performance and twice the wireless range – while providing up to an extra hour of notebook battery life when compared to existing Draft-N products.**
In addition, Intel said it has initiated the "Connect with Centrino" program. Through this program, Intel has worked with leading access point (AP) vendors including Asus, Belkin, Buffalo, D-Link and Netgear to better ensure compatibility and performance. Intel's wireless-N product is certified to work with multiple APs and as these AP's successfully pass Intel's rigorous real-world testing certification criteria, they will display a "Connect with Centrino" identifier on their product packaging, allowing consumers a choice for connecting with more confidence.
"Integrating wireless-N technology into notebook computers based on Centrino Duo with the Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor delivers the speed, coverage and multi-tasking abilities needed for consumers to enjoy their home networking and digital entertainment," said Dave Hofer, director of wireless marketing for Intel's Mobile Platforms Group. "Additionally, access points that are identified by our new 'Connect with Centrino' logo assure consumers that they are purchasing a compatible wireless-N system."
The new wireless-N technology improves the home network experience – especially when multiple people access their wireless network simultaneously and enjoy bandwidth consuming applications such as audio and video entertainment. Intel's Next-Gen Wireless-N product reduces "dead spots" in the home; optimizes high-definition (HD) entertainment experiences such as streaming HD movies; improves battery life and provides the benefit of working with existing 802.11 a/b/g access points.
Intel Centrino Duo mobile technology-based laptops operate faster and more efficiently with Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N enhanced wireless communication capabilities. At the heart of the platform, the Intel Core 2 Duo processors have two processing cores – or computing "brains" – that can handle multiple tasks in less time while consuming less power. When integrated into Intel Centrino Duo-based systems running wireless-N, the Intel Core 2 Duo processors can improve viewing and playing back HD video, speed up conversion of songs into a digital format to upload to an MP3 player, and more quickly run the latest virus protection updates.
Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N technology as well as the "Connect with Centrino" identifier will be delivered in conjunction with new notebook computers powered by Intel Centrino Duo mobile technology from OEMs such as Acer, Asus, Gateway and Toshiba that are being distributed with Microsoft Windows Vista beginning in late January and other OEMs to follow.

Intel Wireless Lan
Wireless LAN
A wireless LAN (WLAN) is a wireless local area network that links two or more computers or devices using spread-spectrum or OFDM modulation technology based to enable communication between devices in a limited area. This gives users the mobility to move around within a broad coverage area and still be connected to the network.
For the home user, wireless has become popular due to ease of installation, and location freedom with the gaining popularity of laptops. Public businesses such as coffee shops or malls have begun to offer wireless access to their customers; some are even provided as a free service. Large wireless network projects are being put up in many major cities. Google is even providing a free service to Mountain View, California and has entered a bid to do the same for San Francisco. New York City has also begun a pilot program to cover all five boroughs of the city with wireless Internet access.

Intel moving 32nm processors up to 2009
Intel may be accelerating the launch of its first 32 nanometer desktop parts to this year if claimscirculated by mainboard producers are accurate. Its first dual-core processors based on the most recent Nehalem architecture, nicknamed Clarkdale, was originally thought to be shipping in early 2010 but is now said by DigiTimes to be releasing these processors late this year. Production would be limited at first but would already have 32nm chips overtaking Core 2 Quad processors in terms of volume.
Launch clock speeds and other details aren't available, although Clarkdale should inherit Nehalem's Hyperthreading technology and in some cases simulate a quad-core processor by assigning two instructions per core. Shrinking the chip assembly technology from 45nm to 32nm will allow either higher clock speeds without affecting power and heat or else can reduce those two at the same clock speed. Intel is reportedly interested enough in Clarkdale that it will account for 20 percent of all the company's processors and overtake most regular 45nm parts.
Why the processor line would move up isn't definite, although the change would hurt AMD, which has recently been regaining some of its lost market share and is lagging behind Intel in producing 32nm chips. Clarkdale would also permit smaller, more compact desktops without sacrificing speed.

Intel to launch 3.2GHz Core i7 in fall
New rumors from the mainboard industry today hint that Intel is poised to update its top-end desktop processor once more this year while also updating its Celerons earlier in the year. Currently topping out with the 3.06GHz Core i7 950, the fall should see that model replaced by the 3.2GHz Core i7 960. Its amount of cache and other features aren't expected byDigiTimes to change, but it should represent the first time a home, non-Extreme desktop processor from Intel has reached 3.2GHz and should be much faster than the similarly-clocked Core 2 Extreme.
Pricing hasn't been revealed for the new class leader and isn't likely to be revealed until closer to the launch, though previously non-Extreme parts cost between $500 and $700.
The Celerons will involve two new models, the 2.4GHz E3200 and 2.5GHz E3300, that will each have 1MB of Level 2 cache, an 800MHz bus and hardware virtualization support. Both should arrive in the summer.
Intel's first Pine Trail Atom for nettops, the dual-core D510, isn't due until the fall and will be followed by the single-core D410 in winter 2010.

Intel pushing back Core i5
Intel's Core i5 processor platform has been pushed back until September, according to claims by those producing mainboards for the platform. The delay would move the launch from the original July and is purportedly meant to clear out stock of earlier designs due to the poor economy. When it does launch, the desktop processor range will reportedly start with 2.66GHz, 2.8Ghz and 2.93GHz processors in bulk prices of $196, $284 and $562 along with a matching mainboard chipset, the P55, costing $40 in volume.
Core i5 is intended as a mainstream counterpart to Core i7 that preserves the new Nehalem architecture but with features scaled back enough to lower the price. Initial models should involve quad-core processors and will have a thermal peak power of 95W. It's anticipated to eventually lead to lower-power desktop processors.
Entry-level Core i5 chips, codenamed Havendale, are expected in January and should be quickly followed by extra chipsets. The delays aren't believed to affect Auburndale, the mobile version of Nehalem, which could show as early as this summer.

The Intel X25-M , World Fastest Drive
No one really paid much attention to Intel getting into the SSD (Solid State Disk) business. We all heard the announcements, we heard the claims of amazing performance, but I didn't really believe it. After all, it was just a matter of hooking up a bunch of flash chips to a controller and putting them in a drive enclosure, right?
The closer we got to release and the more time I spent with competing products, the more I realized that Intel's biggest launch of 2008 wasn't going to be Nehalem - it was going to be its SSDs. If Intel could price them right, and if Intel could deliver on the performance, the biggest upgrade you could do for your PC - whether desktop or notebook, wouldn't be to toss in a faster CPU, it would be to migrate to one of these SSDs. Combine Nehalem and one of these mythical SSDs and you were in for a treat. But that was a big if...Intel still had to deliver.
We already talked about the drives back at IDF. The Intel X25-M and the X18-M, available in 80GB capacities, 2.5" and 1.8" form factors (respectively) with 160GB versions on the way. Today we are allowed to share performance data and pricing information, one of which is more impressive than the other. Intel will be selling the X25-M at $595 MSRP through OEMs and channel vendors, although I hear the street price may be lower.

Intel plans see Calpella, CULV chips processor in summer
A leak of Intel's notebook processor plans for the second half of 2009 show the company moving aggressively into its new platforms during the summer. Those within notebook builders tellDigiTimes that the Nehalem-based notebook processor line, Calpella, is still on track for summer and is slated for mid- to high-range notebooks costing about $1,200 or more. Whether or not this will involve only quad-core processors, as recently rumored, isn't known.
Also due in a similar timeframe are ultraportables based on the CULV (Consumer Ultra Low Voltage) design, which is based on current-generation Core 2 (Montevina) technology. It's now been given a narrower suitability range and will most likely be used in systems with 12- or 13-inch screens and prices between $699 and $1,200. Although it's unclear whether it's truly being used by these companies, Acer, ASUS and MSI all claim to already be using the processors in newly introduced notebooks.
Intel is also reported as looking to phase out its relatively high-performance netbook combination of the 1.66GHz Atom N280 and GN40 chipset and instead push its aging 1.6GHz Atom N270 and 945GSE combination until September, when Pineview-era Atom processors ship with a much faster, integrated graphics core and a smaller footprint. Low demand is cited as the cause but is likely affected by GN40's reduced battery life, competition from NVIDIA's Ion platform and the absence of Windows 7, which would be needed to take full advantage of the extra graphics features.
As part of its effort to maintain the existing netbook platform, Intel is said providing a "white box" generic netbook design for smaller PC makers that would have the N270/945GSE combination, an 8.9-inch display, 8GB or 16GB of storage, 512MB of RAM and Moblin Linux for the equivalent of $256. Its longevity isn't mentioned and may be at Intel's discretion, as the company will "strictly monitor" supply to avoid oversaturating the market.

Fix your Slow XP and 98 Network
You can run "wmiprvse.exe" as a process for quick shared network access to Win98/ME machines. Stick it in Startup or make it a service.
"On the PC running XP, log in as you normally would, go to users, manage network passwords.
Here is where the problem lies. In this dialog box remove any win98 passwords or computer-assigned names for the win98 PCs. In my case , I had two computer-assigned win98 pc names in this box (example G4k8e6). I deleted these names (you may have passwords instead). Then go to My Network Places and -- there you go! -- no more delay!
Now, after I did this and went to My Network Places to browse the first Win98 PC, I was presented with a password/logon box that looked like this: logon: G4k8e6/guest (lightly grayed out) and a place to enter a password. I entered the password that I had previously used to share drives on the Win98 PCs long before I installed XP. I have the guest account enabled in XP.
This solves the problem for Win98 & XP machines on a LAN; I can't guarantee it will work for Win2K/ME machines as well, but the whole secret lies in the passwords. If this doesn't solve your slow WinXP>Win98 access problems, then you probably have other things wrong. Don't forget to uncheck 'simple file sharing,' turn off your ICS firewall, enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP and install proper protocols, services & permissions."

Yahoo messenger free from ad's!!!
Here is what you do to ad's free yahoo masenger:
Run regedit
Goto HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Yahoo -> Pager -> View
Inside the 'View' key there are a several other keys... go through each one and edit the 'banner url' string to your liking. It even works if the string is left blank (this causes it to look as if ads were never even implemented)!
Restart Yahoo! IM for the effect to take hold.
This is great for Yahoo! IM 5.6 users who don't want to be bothered with ads.
