Google Opened Mapmaker for Pakistan

google-mapmaker

Google Map Maker is a tool which is based on Google Maps. With the help Google Map Maker, you can easily add or edit places, road, hospitals, businesses, parks, schools, community centers and even your home sweet home.

Google Maps does not have street level information about landmarks of many countries like Vietnam, Cyprus, Iceland and Pakistan, so they launched Map Maker to get street level information from above listed countries. Information posted on Map Maker is viewable and editable by other viewers as well.

Now that Google has opened the map maker to Pakistan, so we should build the map of Pakistan with this tool. We should spread the word around and add as much features and try to make it as much comprehensive as we can to complete the map of OUR PAKISTAN. I think we should learn from our neighboring countries like Iran and India as their maps are very comprehensive.

If we want full maps of our lovely country Pakistan on our mobile phone, anAndroid Application, location based services or GPS Devices, we should contribute to it as much as we can do. No individual or a group of people can make it happen, its a collective effort and a team work.

Use your Google account to contribute to this service atgoogle.com/mapmaker and help google to serve us better.

How To Increase Earning Potential of Google AdSense

When you include Google AdSense ads on your blog, there is certainly potential to make money, but how? Many beginner bloggers have Google AdSense ads running, but the earnings aren't coming. Follow the steps below to give your blog's Google AdSense program the greatest chance for success & start making money now.

Here's How:

1. Determine your blog's primary focus

Google AdSense ads are most effective when they are served to people who are interested in the products & services those ads offer. With that in mind, Google AdSense tends to work best on blogs that are about niche topics such as a specific product/hobby. Consider how you can make your blog's topic more focused to better attract specific types of readers & specific types of ads.

2. Write consistent & focused content

Google serves ads based on the content on each of your pages. The more focused your content is on each page, the better Google can determine which ads are the most relevant to your readers. Write consistently & stay focused on a specific topic to increase the likelihood that Google will display ads on your blog that your readers are apt to click on.

3. Work to increase your blog's traffic

The more visitors to your blog, the more potential for clicks on your Google AdSense ads. Work to increase your blog's traffic to boost your chances for ad click-throughs. However, keep in mind that if you write focused content, the ads on your blog will be relevant to that content. The traffic that comes to your blog needs to be interested in your blog's topic & your content/they are not likely to be interested in your corresponding Google AdSense ads. Work to drive traffic but make a concerted effort to find traffic that adds value to your blog.

4. Research & test keywords

Google serves ads through its AdSense program based on keywords. Advertisers bid on keywords relevant to their businesses. Some keywords are more popular than others & therefore, drive higher bids. Higher paying keywords also mean higher payouts to you when your readers click on them. The ads served on your site are determined by the content on your site. If you're writing about topics related to higher paying keywords, then you're likely to earn more money from your Google AdSense program than if you wrote about topics related to lower paying keywords.

5. Test Google AdSense ad positions on your blog

You can display Google AdSense ads just about anywhere on your blog. Test a variety of positions on your blog to determine which work best for you in terms of generating click-throughs & maximum revenue.

Tips:

1.Check with your blogging software provider & blog host to ensure your blogging package allows you to place Google AdSense ads on your blog. For example, Wordpress.com doesn’t allow Google AdSense ads.

2. Don't fall victim to the allure of covering your blog in ads to generate income. Blogs that are cluttered with ads are difficult to read & readers typically don't return to blogs where the meaningful content is hidden in between ads.

Track your results to see what's working, particularly as you test keywords& ad positions. This will allow you to develop the best advertising mix to maximize your blog's income while staying consistent to your blog's brand image & overall message to readers at the same time.

Introducing the Google Chrome OS

It's been an exciting nine months since we launched the Google Chrome browser. Already, over 30 million people use it regularly. We designed Google Chrome for people who live on the web — searching for information, checking email, catching up on the news, shopping or just staying in touch with friends. However, the operating systems that browsers run on were designed in an era where there was no web. So today, we're announcing a new project that's a natural extension of Google Chrome — the Google Chrome Operating System. It's our attempt to re-think what operating systems should be.

Google Chrome OS is an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at netbooks. Later this year we will open-source its code, and netbooks running Google Chrome OS will be available for consumers in the second half of 2010. Because we're already talking to partners about the project, and we'll soon be working with the open source community, we wanted to share our vision now so everyone understands what we are trying to achieve.

Speed, simplicity and security are the key aspects of Google Chrome OS. We're designing the OS to be fast and lightweight, to start up and get you onto the web in a few seconds. The user interface is minimal to stay out of your way, and most of the user experience takes place on the web. And as we did for the Google Chrome browser, we are going back to the basics and completely redesigning the underlying security architecture of the OS so that users don't have to deal with viruses, malware and security updates. It should just work.

Google Chrome OS will run on both x86 as well as ARM chips and we are working with multiple OEMs to bring a number of netbooks to market next year. The software architecture is simple — Google Chrome running within a new windowing system on top of a Linux kernel. For application developers, the web is the platform. All web-based applications will automatically work and new applications can be written using your favorite web technologies. And of course, these apps will run not only on Google Chrome OS, but on any standards-based browser on Windows, Mac and Linux thereby giving developers the largest user base of any platform.

Google Chrome OS is a new project, separate from Android. Android was designed from the beginning to work across a variety of devices from phones to set-top boxes to netbooks. Google Chrome OS is being created for people who spend most of their time on the web, and is being designed to power computers ranging from small netbooks to full-size desktop systems. While there are areas where Google Chrome OS and Android overlap, we believe choice will drive innovation for the benefit of everyone, including Google.

We hear a lot from our users and their message is clear — computers need to get better. People want to get to their email instantly, without wasting time waiting for their computers to boot and browsers to start up. They want their computers to always run as fast as when they first bought them. They want their data to be accessible to them wherever they are and not have to worry about losing their computer or forgetting to back up files. Even more importantly, they don't want to spend hours configuring their computers to work with every new piece of hardware, or have to worry about constant software updates. And any time our users have a better computing experience, Google benefits as well by having happier users who are more likely to spend time on the Internet.

We have a lot of work to do, and we're definitely going to need a lot of help from the open source community to accomplish this vision. We're excited for what's to come and we hope you are too. Stay tuned for more updates in the fall and have a great summer.

5 Tools Monitoring the Success of Your Blog or Website

1. Google Analytics

Google Analytics has become the preferred option among free statistics programs. Like any other stats program, Google Analytics provides data on the number of visitors, and page views, referral sources, entry and exit pages, and more. Unlike most other programs, Google Analytics includes the ability to track and monitor pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns. Other useful information includes the geographic location of your visitors, their internet connection speed, and their screen resolutions. You can sign up for Google Analytics at: http://www.google.com/analytics

2. Google Webmaster Tools

Want to know how the largest search engine in the world sees your website? Google's Webmaster Tools will give you loads of information such as the pages that are indexed, errors found by the Googlebot (dead links), your search engine rankings for specific search phrases, your anchor text on inbound links, internal and external link data, and robots.txt and sitemap data.

By knowing how Google sees your site you will find some basic items that you'll need to change in order to reach your maximum potential in search engine traffic. You can sign up for Google Webmaster Tools at:

https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/

3. Sitening.com's SEO Analyzer

Sitening is another leading SEO firm with several valuable tools on their website. The SEO Analyzer differs from SEOmoz's Page Strength Tool in that it checks the internal structure of your site to determine how well it is constructed (in terms of search engine optimization). The structure of a website is the framework for a good SEO campaign, and Sitening.com's SEO Analyzer will help you to build the right framework. Sitening.com's SEO Analyzer can be found at:

http://www.sitening.com/seo-tools/seo-analyzer/

4. GoogleRankings.com

GoogleRankings.com will show you which words and phrases appear most frequently on your website throughout the text of the page, title, headings and meta tags. This is a useful tool to be certain that your pages are optimized for the words and phrases that you are targeting.

5. FeedBurner

If you publish a blog, FeedBurner's service is a must have. Feedburner will provide you with statistics regarding your blog's feed and you can give your readers the option to subscribe by email instead of RSS. There are a number of other features that you can read about at FeedBurner. With FeedBurner you can always see how many subscribers you have and how many of them are clicking through from your feed to your site.

12 google search syntax

Here are 12 syntax can improve accuracy of your search result:

1. intitle:
intitle: restricts your search to the titles of web pages. The variation, allintitle: finds pages wherein all the words specified make up the title of the web page. It's probably best to avoid the allintitle: variation, because it doesn't mix well with some of the other syntaxes.

intitle:"george bush"
allintitle:"money supply" economics

2. inurl:
inurl: restricts your search to the URLs of web pages. This syntax tends to work well for finding search and help pages, because they tend to be rather regular in composition. An allinurl: variation finds all the words listed in a URL but doesn't mix well with some other special syntaxes.

inurl:help
allinurl:search help

3. intext:
intext: searches only body text (i.e., ignores link text, URLs, and titles). There's an allintext: variation, but again, this doesn't play well with others. While its uses are limited, it's perfect for finding query words that might be too common in URLs or link titles.

intext:"yahoo.com"
intext:html

4. inanchor:
inanchor: searches for text in a page's link anchors. A link anchor is the descriptive text of a link. For example, the link anchor in the HTML code O'Reilly and Associates is "O'Reilly and Associates."

inanchor:"tom peters"

5. site:
site: allows you to narrow your search by either a site or a top-level domain. AltaVista, for example, has two syntaxes for this function (host: and domain:), but Google has only the one.

site:loc.gov
site:thomas.loc.gov
site:edu
site:nc.us

6.link:
link: returns a list of pages linking to the specified URL. Enter link:www.google.com and you'll be returned a list of pages that link to Google. Don't worry about including the http:// bit; you don't need it, and, indeed, Google appears to ignore it even if you do put it in. link: works just as well with "deep" URLs—http://www.raelity.org/apps/blosxom/ for instance—as with top-level URLs such as raelity.org.

7. cache:
cache: finds a copy of the page that Google indexed even if that page is no longer available at its original URL or has since changed its content completely. This is particularly useful for pages that change often.

If Google returns a result that appears to have little to do with your query, you're almost sure to find what you're looking for in the latest cached version of the page at Google.

cache:www.yahoo.com

8. daterange:
daterange: limits your search to a particular date or range of dates that a page was indexed. It's important to note that the search is not limited to when a page was created, but when it was indexed by Google. So a page created on February 2 and not indexed by Google until April 11 could be found with daterange: search on April 11. Remember also that Google reindexes pages. Whether the date range changes depends on whether the page content changed. For example, Google indexes a page on June 1. Google reindexes the page on August 13, but the page content hasn't changed. The date for the purpose of searching with daterange: is still June 1.

Note that daterange: works with Julian [Hack #12], not Gregorian dates (the calendar we use every day.) There are Gregorian/Julian converters online, but if you want to search Google without all that nonsense, use the FaganFinder Google interface (http://www.faganfinder.com/engines/google.shtml), offering daterange: searching via a Gregorian date pull-down menu. Some of the hacks deal with daterange: searching without headaches, so you'll see this popping up again and again in the book.

"George Bush" daterange:2452389-2452389
neurosurgery daterange:2452389-2452389

9. filetype:
filetype: searches the suffixes or filename extensions. These are usually, but not necessarily, different file types. I like to make this distinction, because searching for filetype:htm and filetype:html will give you different result counts, even though they're the same file type. You can even search for different page generators, such as ASP, PHP, CGI, and so forth—presuming the site isn't hiding them behind redirection and proxying. Google indexes several different Microsoft formats, including: PowerPoint (PPT), Excel (XLS), and Word (DOC).

homeschooling filetype:pdf
"leading economic indicators" filetype:ppt

10. related:
related:, as you might expect, finds pages that are related to the specified page. Not all pages are related to other pages. This is a good way to find categories of pages; a search for related:google.com would return a variety of search engines, including HotBot, Yahoo!, and Northern Light.

related:www.yahoo.com
related:www.cnn.com

11. info:
info: provides a page of links to more information about a specified URL. Information includes a link to the URL's cache, a list of pages that link to that URL, pages that are related to that URL, and pages that contain that URL. Note that this information is dependent on whether Google has indexed that URL or not. If Google hasn't indexed that URL, information will obviously be more limited.

info:www.oreilly.com
info:www.nytimes.com/technology

12. phonebook:
phonebook:, as you might expect, looks up phone numbers. For a deeper look, see the section

phonebook:John Doe CA
phonebook:(510) 555-1212

Why people get banned in Google Adsense!

In adsense many of times new and even old publisher get banned in regular period of time. In which many acclaimed that Google banned them simply without any prior reason. I would like to point out few major reasons to get banned.

Lack of Knowledge

As we all know that Google is much strict regarding Terms of Conditions and its privacy. According to my own survey 75-80% publishers get banned by exploiting terms & conditions. Thats why i suggest every new user to read out all TOS carefully.

Maximum Clicks

To obtain high number of clicks most of publishers tend to place ads on whole page. At times that gives some amount of invalid clicks and raises up CTR Rate above 100% which is totally un acceptable.

Copyrighted Content & Material

Copyrights are also another reason that Google never allows its publisher to use any content & material which is strictly prohibited by its orignal owner. Unless for duplicate content it gives only few cents.

These are general banning reasons of publishers in Google Adsense.

Tips For New Google Adsense account Applicants

This question becoming so hard for new Google Adsense Publishers who apply for new accounts. Google Adsense changed their policy structures time by time till last mid-year there were no kind of special requirement for publishers but now after revision of requirement new account holder must posses such possible terms to get their account approved.1. In Process of application please use high TLD or Regular Domains for your site like (e.g www.yoursite.com, www.anyblog.net or www.site2.info) Either you can also use sub-domain of Domains. (blog.mysite.com)2. Your applied domain must be at least 6 months older. (This is new thing which they added recently)3. Applied Website or Blog must contain genuine and reasonable Content.4. After applying for Google Adsense please remove other CPC or PPC Campaigns from website pages. As Google Adsense will give you top priority if your site doesnt have any relavant ads related to Google.5. Assure yourself that you are using tolerable web standards like Html, Php & Asp etc.6. Do not forget to add site maps in your websites because it gives users to access whole site using site map even Google also loves site maps.7. Also dont create websites just for Adsense because some times MFA’s not pay much although having genuine content & stuff. If you are new webmaster eager to join adsense using a new site then i prefer to apply for adsense after passing 1 month. Because in this duration you may easily anayalise and startegise site peformance. If in one month start to give you good followup in terms of traffic and activeness of websites then you can surely apply for adsense. The biggest mistake most of new webmasters do is they immediately apply for new account spending much time on search engines. Do not forget to read out guidlines section in Google Adsense site to get further info about new site accounts. There are some agencies created in several nations which misguiding local public to join agency by registration and to use them for multiple clicking bombing on fellow partner sites. Please dont get involved with these agencies because adsense is free to join to all, just all you want to have a normal website with quality content.

How to Boost your Google Adsense Earnings?

There is long buzz around the market that how to boost earnings of Adsense using legal and authorize ways. I would like to share some common rather important tips and techniques to enhance Adsense Earnings.

Niche Selection:

This step is most important among choosing Adsense as for earning money. There are alot of niche available but few of them paying much higher these days like Health, Finance and Electronic Gadgets giving higher amount of earn per click as compare to Entertainment and other sites. Before creating a new site first assure yourself to choose better and best paying niche.

By the combination of strong content, powerful niche and excessive traffic can allow you to boost your adsense earnings whenever you want to do so.

Tips for Using Google AdSense on ur site !!!

If I had to narrow my advice on using AdSense down to a single word it would be 'experiment'. Let me explain.

That day back in October of 2003 I had no idea on what I was doing. The next day when I logged in to see how much I'd earned it was barely enough to buy me a coffee.

However, on that day I decided that those few dollars in earnings showed potential and I determined within myself to learn how best to use AdSense to grow that income. Almost everything I've learned since that day has been through trial and error.

It has been a long process of testing and tracking results. You see, while there are a few good home truths that seem to work on most sites, every website that I've used AdSense on is different. Some things work well on some sites, but it is rare to find something that will work on every site. As a result I tend to experiment with my use of AdSense in these six ways:

1. Ad Position - Most AdSense publishers have seen the neat little heat map that AdSense has produced to show where ads work best on websites. In general it works fairly well and is a great place to start, but make sure you experiment with new positions for ads and see what works best for your site.

Hint: Ads near (or even surrounded by) content have worked the best. I've also found ads at the end of content perform well. People get to the end of reading your article and then are looking for something to do or click -- an ad positioned there can work well.

2. Numbers of Ads - More ads earn more than less ads... don't they? Unfortunately it isn't always the case.

Test different combinations and numbers of ad units on your site. There's usually a 'tipping point' where you hit a ceiling of how many ads your users will accept -- push it too far and you could hurt reader engagement, traffic, and in the long run your earnings. On the flip side of this, don't be afraid to have more than one or two ads on a page, particularly if you have long pages with lots of content.

3. Ad Design - I can still see the first ads that I first used on my blog back in 2003. I can still see them because they fried their imprints into my retina -- they were so LOUD!

I figured that the ads would do best if people noticed them so I went for the most crazy color scheme I could come up with. Over the years I began to experiment with different combinations of ads and found that more subtle or blended ads tended to work best for me. Having said that, you can sometimes blend too much, to the point that the ads become invisible to your reader. So test different colors and designs of ads to see which work best. Use the ad rotating tool that AdSense offer publishers to rotate different designs to work against ad blindness among regular readers.

4. Ad Sizes - AdSense offers us a range of different ad sizes, so experiment with them all to see which works best. Hint: Some might think that the bigger the ad the better it performs. This is not always true.

For example, I found that the 'large rectangle' ad (336 x 280) didn't work as well for me as the smaller 'medium rectangle' ad (300 x 250). It turns out that more advertisers (at least those in my niche) prefer the medium rectangle ad as it's a more standard ad unit size than the larger one. Again, the key is to experiment and see what works best for your site and niche.

5. Ad Formats - I've found that choosing image and text ads works better than just choosing text ads, but that's not the only choice we get as AdSense publishers.

AdSense also allow us to run link units, AdSense for search, etc. I've found that each of these different formats will work differently from site to site. I've had blogs where the link unit ads were the best performing units on the site while on other sites it didn't really perform at all. You'll never know unless you test it!

6. Which Content Converts? - One of the best advances that AdSense has made in the last year has been the integration between it and Google Analytics. To be honest I'm still digging into the metrics that this opens up, but the insight that this gives has amazing potential to increase earnings.

Google Friend Connect Is Coming Soon

We know that Google is about to launch Friend Connect to public but here’s another strong hint that the service may go live very soon.

The support site of Friend Connect is now up and running with detailed information on how site owners can integrate the OpenSocial gadgets of Friend Connect in their sites.

With Google Friend Connect, visitors to your site or blog can:
> Sign in with their Google, Yahoo, AIM or OpenID account.
> Interact with other visitors by making friends, sharing media, posting comments, playing games, and more.
> Invite friends from other social networks and contact lists to join your site or blog.

MyBlogLog users can easily relate to Google Friend Connect. You add a widget to your blog and visitors can join your site via their Google, Yahoo, AIM or OpenID account.
Once they join, their picture will show up in the Friend Connect badge. They can also explore profiles of other members or even grow their social network from your site itself by adding other site members as their friends. I think it is a useful service.

What is google PageRank (PR)

A Google feature that helps determine the rank of a site in our search results. PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page's value. Important, high-quality sites receive a higher PageRank, which Google remembers each time it conducts a search. Google combines PageRank with sophisticated text-matching techniques to find pages that are both important and relevant to your searches

Goole RageRank (PR) Formula

PageRank is a probability distribution used to represent the likelihood that a person randomly clicking on links will arrive at any particular page. PageRank can be calculated for any-size collection of documents. It is assumed in several research papers that the distribution is evenly divided between all documents in the collection at the beginning of the computational process. The PageRank computations require several passes, called "iterations", through the collection to adjust approximate PageRank values to more closely reflect the theoretical true value.

A probability is expressed as a numeric value between 0 and 1. A 0.5 probability is commonly expressed as a "50% chance" of something happening. Hence, a PageRank of 0.5 means there is a 50% chance that a person clicking on a random link will be directed to the document with the 0.5 PageRan

Google Represses AdSense Partners in Search of Fraudulent Clicks

In an struggle to root out fraudulent AdSense partners, Google has embarked on more than likely fraudulent initiatives of its own, potentially bilking hundreds of dollars and continuing to thousands of legitimate website publishers out of revenues received over legal clicks on Google searches.

With no organized controls to assure the the cash withheld of publishers are making reimbursed to advertisers, the impending for Google to illegally retain revenues is significant.

According to reliable sources, Google has notified hundreds of dollars and more than likely thousands of AdSense partner ones too fraudulent activity was called on ones in connection through Google searches, supposedly accruing inappropriately generated revenues for the sites. Although a substantial share of these types of ones may, in fact, not hold involved in any kind of fraudulent activity on such a own and no evidence remains of any inappropriate behavior in connection to such sites, Google's algorithms detected how the organization refers to as "invalid" clicks. Without realize or explanation, Google merely has disabled the AdSense consideration of these types of sites, quitting vacant "holes" at which the AdSense put up ads after appeared.

Worse, Google refuses to forward any more guidelines to publishers whose accounts undergo kept on disabled; publishers own no recourse to request for reinstatement in the Google AdSense program; and publishers accused of fraud, rightly or wrongly, are refused payment for any activity generated at such a sites, that much for activity generated before the purported click fraud was referred to as by Google.

In a potentially fraudulent act of its own, Google suggests too earnings generated by the accused publishers' ones are "being correctly paid off to the affected advertisers." However, no accounting is given that to the ones and Google refuses to substantiate to publishers which money are, in fact, making repaid to advertisers. The action by Google might impact millions - a good deal hundreds of dollars of millions - of money in incremental revenues overly Google is popping in its earnings statements the current do not, in fact, belong to the company. With no organized controls to assure so the money withheld out of publishers are making paid off to advertisers, the impending for Google to illegally retain revenues is significant, opening the association to comprehensive legal battles and Sarbanes Oxley linked questioning up its accounting procedures.

Because the ones affected are traditionally small, Google apparently believes its accusations and actions cause no substantiation, no validation, no confirmation, and no audit. E-mails sent to the affected publishers are signed by an unidentified Google AdSense Team" and properties send back no option for publishers to determine the nature of the fraud detected or the lonely time of finances affected. The Google notice, attained by Jack Myers Media Business Report states:

"A publisher's site may not suffer invalid clicks on any ad(s), along with but not limited to clicks generated by: a publisher on his own web pages, a publisher encouraging others to click on his ads, automated clicking programs or any a greater amount of deceptive software, a publisher differing any percentage of the ad code or influencing the layout, behavior, targeting or delivery of ads for any reason.

While such procedures appear appropriate, Google's actions often punish publishers for clear algorithmic inconsistencies. If, for example, a site providing low income generates a perfect total amount of AdSense clicks as opposed to Google's computers agree it should, Google hello assumes fraud and merely disables the account. Google accuses publishers of perpetrating or permitting fraudulent click activity, continuing to while different ones affected by Google's actions can, themselves, identify no source or evidence of this kind of illegal activity.

Because Google gives no signal of click fraud, allows no due method for ones impacted and removed on the AdSense program, and gives no evidence which finances improperly withheld based on publishers are, in fact, making reimbursed to advertisers, publishers and attorneys are research quality action lawsuits. Google just recently settled a school action suit pressed by webmasters who argue properties inappropriately hired Google for fraudulent clicks and a larger number of superiority action suits undergo been heard targeted against the company. (See Jack Myers Media Business Report 3/13/06) The company's aggressive search engine for fraudulent clicks, and the computerized over-reaction and inappropriate disabling of lawfully talking ones reflects the problem Google faces as it seeks to automate and depersonalize the advertising world.

While warnings up the scope of fraudulent clicks may justify Google's actions (The Wall Street Journal cites states so additionally as opposed to 20 per cent of all clicks are fraudulent), efforts to reach the organization for motive of its actions balance provided a stonewall of computerized e-mail responses. Google representatives say properties are not able to either explain or substantiate the particular nature of fraud properties accuse ones of committing. They refuse to send back an accounting of finances generated by affected sites, validate overly undistributed commissions are making reimbursed to advertisers, or survey how a great deal funds has continued repaid or due to be returned. Google apparently believes it can try above the procedures of fair trade and this its size provides it to leg work outside the norms of traditional advertising economical behavior.

Google Adwords - Using Adwords To Make Money

You have an option to start making money online through someone else’s products. This manner of online money making is referred to as affiliate marketing, and by joining an affiliate program you would be capable of earning a commission of each sale you make. Although this sounds rather easy, in the initial stages you will need time, patience and a small amount of money.

The first step is to register with an online affiliate program. There is a variety for you to choose from; however a particular well known one and the one I have first hand knowledge of is called Clickbank. Once you have reached the home page and signed up to Clickbank, you will need to go to the marketplace to check out the range of products that you could attach yourself to. Clickbank uses a technique where the products with a higher chance of making money are placed at the top of the listing. Some determining factors of the product placement include sales trends and how often a click is converted into a sale.

The optimum product to sell is the one with high sales opposed to high commission. An even better option if you can find a product like this; high sales and high commission! When you have chosen your product, you need to click on the ‘hoplink’. This will inform you of your affiliate link, which you will need to copy and save for advertising purposes.

Having an affiliate site is not going to make you money if you don’t advertise it. This next section will introduce you to advertising using Google Adwords. Google Adwords is a pay-per-click advertising program, and it can be accessed through the main Google search page. You will need to register with this program and it is very important that you read the editorial guidelines thoroughly. This will prevent you from having to redo ads with factors that Google prohibits. Once you have enrolled, you can start making your small advertisement which will be shown in Google search results. The advertisement needs to be attention-grabbing so as to lure potential buyers to it. Most importantly your ad must have relevant keywords in it. After all, the search is based on keywords.

This is where you can send yourself broke if you’re not careful! You have to choose the keywords that will relate to your advertisement and therefore your site. Once you have chosen your keywords, Google will inform you of a price per click. You either accept this information and begin your advertising or delete it and try again. In the event that you accept and plan to start advertising, you need to decide on a budget. I recommend that you place a daily limit on your campaigns, because without one you will find that your invoice balance grows VERY quickly. A small amount per day will allow you to find a product that makes money for you, and then you might decide to increase your budget slightly for a time. You have to consider your budget while paying enough money to allow your ad to be in the first couple pages of the search listing. Once all this is done, you are required to finalize your account set up by notifying Google of your credit card details. Your Google account will be settled each month through this credit card. The good news is that your commission will be deposited into your click bank account after each sale. That is how to make money with affiliate programs and that is how you will build your bank balance.
